Prefects

Towards the end of Year 10, students apply to become Prefects. A role which extends throughout their time in Year 11. Prefects represent and embody the Stowupland Way. They are mentors and role models for younger students and as a basis to their role, they operate a duty rota which supports students at social times, working closely with the members of staff on duty. Prefects have a uniform of a smart black zip fleece that makes them identifiable around school and when on duty. Prefects also support parental tours at Open Evenings and also make student panels for interviews of prospective staff.
