Learning Pathways at KS4

Every year, Year 9 students are invited to start personalising their learning pathway ready for the start of year 10. This process starts in January with students being provided with an Options booklet and attending an Options evening. This will provide them with the details of their suggested pathway along with more information about the courses available for them to study. This will be followed up with individual interviews if students require. The process is linked to the PSHE curriculum, where students will study a comprehensive careers programme.

The students continue to study English, Maths, Science, RE and Core PE but then select 4 other courses. The details of the Options process are explained in the booklet shared below.
