Travelling to School
The school day starts promptly at 8.55am for Morning Tutor Time.
Walking and Cycling
If you live locally you are encouraged to walk or cycle to school. There are a number of footpaths leading into the school site and plenty of storage facilities for you to keep your bicycle locked and secure during the day. Please see the map for details of all footpaths.
By Car
May we remind all parents who drop off and collect their children by car, that the school site is restricted for safety reasons whilst the school buses are on site during the morning and evening periods. This means that access is limited between 8.30am and 9.00am, and again from 3.15pm to 4.00pm. If you need to collect your child during the day, then access after 9.00am and before 3.15pm is no problem.
Please note this restriction does not apply to parents/carers who would normally have access to disabled parking spaces.
If you do need to drive your child to school, then please select your drop off and collection points carefully; there are several private driveways leading from Church Road, including The Crown car park itself, which should not be used or obstructed in any way. We have also been asked by the Parish Council to remind parents that care should be taken when using the green so that verges are not damaged and cars are still able to flow along the road.
For visitors to the school at any time: May we remind you that the disabled parking bays are only to be used by registered disabled badge holders. Cars parking or stopping on our site must do so in appropriate places, and should not obstruct other vehicles or site users.
Thank you for your consideration in this matter; working together as a community will be of benefit to everyone.
