School Council

Each Tutor group from across the school nominates Form Representatives. These students attend Year Council meetings once every half term. Students discuss teaching and learning, behaviour and rewards and the school community as well as bringing any student voice to the discussion.

Each Year group then nominates whole school council representatives who attend Whole School Council meetings with Mr Brewster. Matters and opinions discussed at Year Councils are brought to the table in order to promote positive change in the school. In recent years, students have helped to reduce litter in school, reduce the amount of waste from the canteen, help construct the menu and offer in the canteen and they have also updated the school uniform to include smart tailored school shorts all year round.
